Picking apples for the crumble!

Today we picked the last of the orchard's apples (for crumble next week mmmmm yum), filled the bee troughs with water and weeded the garden. We found an enormous perfectly formed carrot when we were weeding - it tasted good. Check it out our famous carrot in the photos below!

We learned that the orchard trees weren't dying - they just lose their leaves in autumn.

Yummy and healthy!

Treat time

We harvested our one and only pumpkin that survived since it was a baby seed. It was time to cut it up and turn it into pumpkin soup. We were sorry to cut it up, it looked too pretty to eat!!!!

Next week, we are making apply crumble from the apples in the orchard and homemade icecream. It's hard work being an Eco Kid!
